Aims of the institution:
Aims of the Institution : Aims and purposes of the Institution, as well as its global aim, come from the needs and interests of its member Societies and Unions, from the intensity and trends in the development of the science, engineering and technology in all the fields of the its work, and from the factual public responsibilities of the professional engineering and scientific elite of a developing country with specifications as the Republic of Macedonia including its geoposition, international position and needs. In its aims and purposes certain duties may be included, witch is passed by law in the Parliament of the Republic. The aims and purposes of the Institution: - To stimulate and coordinate the following of the up - to - date developments in all the fields and their areas of the engineering sciences and technologies in broader sense, especially with newly appeared science knowledge and technologies in those fields. - To take over activities or initiatives for activities for faster and more efficient transmitting of newly appeared scientific knowledge and technologies from the engineering fields of intellectual work through corresponding suitable forms of organized activities. - To organize, encourage, induce and support appliance and use of new scientific knowledge in engineering fields in practical technological problems, as well as to induce in all possible ways the technological; progress of the country. - To encourage and strengthen the exchanges of professional engineering scientific and technical - technological ideas, as well as sharing of knowledge among researching and developing and design works that are going on in the universities, in the private and public companies in the economy, and in the institutes of development and research. - To work on transfer of knowledge and technologies in this country and in other developing countries through organizing or inducing different, forms of promoting and publishing of engineering results from researching, design or constructive-building character, as well as through propaganda of interests, importance and influence of engineering sciences and technologies for the general progress of the economy and culture of the social community. - To take care of the professional and scientific progress and of other common interests of the member Societies and Unions of the Institution as interests of engineers' community and public position in the society of the individual members of the member Society and Unions and of engineering - technical intelligentia as a whole. - To promote researches and all forms of inventive work and engineering creativity in the fields of work of the Institution and member Societies and Unions. - To strengthen and assure growing cooperation among the actual members of the Institution and among them and other professional organizations in the country and abroad, and especially to induce and help the international cooperation. - To organize production of special engineering studies and carrying out of special technical - technological presentations of special public importance, of interdisciplinary character or for special appliance. - To organize and support publication of research and technological research or essayistic and art reports of the individual members of the Societies and Unions of the Institution, as well as to organize and carry out own publishing activity of scientific and other professional literature. - To stimulate and help work on development of the national professional standards and technical norms in the member Societies and Unions. - To strengthen and support the expert - professional progress of the individual members of the member Societies and Unions through forms of permanent education and training. - To organize and carry out in cooperation with the member Societies and Unions public evaluation to confirm the grade of engineering professional competence for independent work in the professional and aspired specialties, as well as to issue legal certificates for that purpose. - To take care and induce measures in cooperation with the member Societies and Unions in separate engineering-scientific fields for public respecting and taking care of professional ethics of an engineer and or scientist of the individual members of the Societies and Unions of the Institution and actually from all other members of the engineers' community. - To take care of and to contribute to the general progress of the engineering disciplines of expert domains of its Societies and Unions as they are fields of contemporary sciences and technologies of the mankind. Institution Tasks : - by close cooperation with the Member Societies and Member Unions; - by independent research studies and designs for principle-idea solutions or for conceptualization of general needed or asked responds in connection with professional issues in question of the member Societies and Unions; - by creating initiatives for legal regulating and other legal documents for different aspects of the engineering and technologies from the fields of its competitiveness and office through use of norms and standards; - by inducing, strengthening, coordinating and organizing of activities of its members; - by work of its organs and permanent and ad-hoc committees with professional-technical, administrative and management purposes; - by organizing working sessions, lectures, seminars, workshops, symposiums, sandwich-courses, exhibitions, presentation of public promotion and different official and informal meetings of eminent engineering-scientific and other professionally-competent and state-competent persons; - by close cooperation and participation in activities of the governmental agencies and its sponsors, which for the Institution and its Member-Societies and Member-Unions possess competent resources. - by publishing journals and brochures.
