--How to Become a member of the Institution: How to Become a member of the Institution: Every citizen of the Republic who works in one of the professional fields of the engineering sciences and technologies as graduate engineer, educator, performer, innovator, researcher, scientist, constructor and designer and author of engineering or scientific works is able to become MEMBER of the CORRESPONDING SOCIETIES and UNIONS, and by that act also of the INSTITUTION (from now on called Member) if he he/she declares a whish for that (in written form), if accepts the obligations and rights of the Member that come out from the Statute of the Society/Union in question and from the Constitutional Statute of the Institution, and if he/she respects the professional engineering ethics. Besides the citizens-members from the previous posture, but under the same conditions, member of some of the Societies/Unions, and with that of the Institution, is allowed to become also every citizen of the Republic who is professionally engaged in some of the fields of the engineering sciences and technologies as a first-rate engineer or technician, or who is a student of some of the engineering vocations. The individual membership can be in one of the following statuses: - Member-student; - Member-technician; - Member-first-rate engineer; - Member-graduate engineer; - Chartered Engineer member; - Eminent Member; - Merited Member; - Honorary Member; Usually, the received members of the Societies/Unions and, through then, of the Institution, from Art. 12 and Art. 13 are accepted in the statuses of Member-student and Member-technician, First-rate Engineer and Graduate Engineer, as needed. The candidates who are interested are allowed to get other statuses according to the certain criteria and procedure for previous evaluation of the expert level, public engineering reputation and personal values, and contributions to the engineering profession, sciences and technologies and to the home Society/Union, in other words to the Institution. EndUp of Membership : The individual membership in the Institution ends up legally along with ending of the individual membership in the home Society/ Union, and it can happen in of the following cases: - on base of written declaration of the individual member that he/she resigns from his/her Society/Union; -on base of expelling because of serious torts of the principles of the Society/Union and the duties of the individual member, or on base of statutory authorized Disciplinary Arbitrage of the Society/Union when it established presence of act against the interests of the Society/Union and the Institution on purpose or breaking of rules of the professional engineering ethics; - on base of annulment of the membership because of not paying the individual membership fee for longer than 2 years (except in case of unemployment for a longer period).
