Engineering

The Engineering Institution of Macedonia publishes the magazine for engineering creativity and technology ENGINEERING UDK/UDC 62, ISSN: 1409-5564 which is distributed free of charge.

The magazine ENGINEERING begins to be printed as a response to the challenges in modern open societies and commemorating the golden jubilee of the institution of engineering-scientific societies and unions of the Republic of Macedonia in 1996, with the decision of the General Assembly to publish an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary scientific-professional journal for engineering-technological creativity. ENGINEERING begins to be published as a bilingual quarterly, in Macedonian and English, according to the annual publishing-editing policy for all four issues. The first issue is printed in a circulation of 1000.

In ENGINEERING, topics from the fields of energy, water, environment, communications, materials and food are represented. At the beginning the papers are applied and theoretical which clearly show original engineering creation of more general and lasting significance and impact.

In 2000, the magazine ENGINEERING comes out with a daily press with a circulation of 35,000.

Over time, the content of the magazine is enriched with current affairs from everyday engineering, interviews with renowned meritorious engineers, deans, businessmen and associates.

Since 2004, when the Engineer’s Ring recognition was introduced, a large part of the pages of ENGINEERING is dedicated to the winners of the Engineer’s Ring, their biography, interview and photos.

Furthermore, Engineering is modernized and characterized by colorful front pages and colorful articles.

In recent years, the magazine has been published once a year.
