TRAINEE
The “TRAINEE” project plans its activities from the starting assumption that all stakeholders are ready to participate in strengthening the construction sector in order to ensure higher standards of energy efficiency.
The overall concept of “TRAINEE” is in supporting the construction sector by providing a qualified workforce with EE and RES skills and in implementing measures to coordinate activities for the recognition and acceptance of EE skills by key market actors in the construction sector .
The approach is to implement basic measures to achieve the higher goal that will increase the demand for buildings with improved energy characteristics, as well as the recognition of the EE skills of professional workers by small and medium enterprises (investors, companies and professional associations). The reason for this is that construction as a highly regulated industry, applying the reverse approach from top to bottom, ie. from the adoption of government policies, laws and their implementation, however, gives limited results. The inclusion of relevant parties from the construction services market is expected to contribute to the approval of the legislation and its implementation.
